RVWFS FIPB filter uses advanced proprietary technology to create a unique filter media that combines a powerful 0.5 micron carbon block filter with nearly a 50% improvement over water flow compared to competition.. As a result, this revolutionary filter cartridge can deliver two (2) times the chlorine taste & odor reduction and dirt-holding capacity of traditional block filters. Lead adsorbent material is also infused to the media to provide effective lead reduction up to 2,000 gallons, and the filter is 0.5 micron rated to remove 99.95% of cryptosporidium and giardia cysts. In addition, this block filter will not release fines into the water stream thanks to a unique post-filtration layer that is fused to the carbon/filter media blend, leaving the filtered-water clean and pure. Modified molded block 0.5 micron cartridges are manufactured entirely from FDA-complaint materials, making them an ideal option for a wide range of residential, food service, commercial and industrial applications.
