Pentek/Omnipure/Shurflo Filters

These interchangeable cartridges are under-sink filters that are often installed by the manufacturer.  Many RVs are now using canister style cartridges in a size of, basically, 2 1/2" x 10".  Check the "for Standard Canisters" section of this purple block and realize that any of these cartridges will fit in Flo-pur, Hydro-Life, Shurflo, Pentek, Ametek, Kemflo or any standard canister housing except Omni brand.

• The Pentek GS Series cartridges use granulated carbon with KDF, and are bacteriostatic.  This is the same type of filter that came on your RV, although the brand on the label may be different.  Pentair and Omnipure are manufacturers that produce many of the labels found in RVs, along with the Flo-pur company.  Our filters are the same size and ingredients in this GS series.
• The Omnipure  is a solid-block carbon filter with a 1-micron rating, also containing KDF to make it bacteriostatic. It is much better than any other cartridge for these systems as it offers giardia and cryptospridium cyst reduction. This is an upgrade from the filter that came with your RV.
• The fittings in your existing filter can be removed and reused in your new filter. This is why we offer them without fittings if you wish.
